Having performed to critical acclaim as angels and shepherds in last year’s Pageant, the second graders have graduated to being “Children Of The World.” Each child dresses up as a child from a different country of the world. They are a sight to behold as they process down the main aisle of St. Timothy’s Chapel. They sing “What Shall I Give,” “He Is Born,” and “Joy To The World.” In January, we’ll be introduced to solfege, learning more about music notation with “Lucy Locket.” We’ll learn what a “staff” is, and be able to find so, mi and la on the staff. We’ll learn about the treble clef and about line notes and space notes. We’ll also learn about “movable do” with “Pizza, Pizza, Daddy-O.” But for now, we’re Children Of The World!
